PRP Treatments, also known as Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy, is a popular therapy for those experiencing hair loss. It is widely performed in the medical aesthetic community for facial enhancements, but it is commonly done to increase hair cell growth. Through a simple blood draw, and placement into a ‘centrifuge’, the blood and plasma separate. The plasma is then injected into the scalp to increase blood flow to the hair follicles.
